Certain University resources are protected and require a secure connection called a Virtual Private Network (VPN). PeopleSoft Financials, Information Warehouse (Cognos), and the Library are examples of restricted applications requiring a VPN connection. Please note that most networked services, such as email, Office 365 and Google Apps, do not require VPN.
