I am currently a 8th year in the East Asian Studies Department, and I joined the Graduate Peer Coach program at McGraw to contribute to our scholarly community by assisting graduate student peers to navigate their lives while learning and working at Princeton. Having had the surreal opportunity to be part of graduate student communities at Princeton University for 6 years, at Seoul National University in Korea for 5 years, and at research institutions from Vienna to Taipei over the summers, I have been able to experience and witness challenges that graduate students face regardless of cultural differences and national boundaries. As an international student, I found that active communication with my peers and cohorts has helped to resolve and mitigate many of the challenges I have faced. I strive to be an empathetic coach who can provide you with the tools necessary to successfully thrive in your respective graduate programs. In my free time, I enjoy practicing Korean fortune-telling, playing with my dog, going to museum exhibits, and eating various cuisines.
