Prior to joining Princeton’s staff, she was an Assistant Professor of Theatre at James Madison University in Virginia, where she also served as a Faculty Associate in Teaching at the Center for Faculty Innovation. An alumna of Princeton, she holds an M.A. from the University of Texas and a Ph.D. from the Graduate Center at the City University of New York. She is the Book Review Editor for Theatre Topics, a journal focused on the intersection of performance theory, practice, and pedagogy. Her writing has appeared in Critical Stages/Scènes critiques, Contemporary Theatre Review, Theatre Journal, TDR, Modern Drama, as well as several edited collections.
