Brandon Kronstat joined the Prison Teaching Initiative in June 2025. He is a former appellate public defender and, most recently, served as Co-Director of Law-Related Education at Legal Outreach, a nonprofit serving students across New York City. In that role, he managed a constitutional law program, mentorship and internship programs, and a civic engagement and social justice program. During law school, he worked with the Innocence Project, the Legal Aid Society, and Beldock, Levine & Hoffman. He earned his B.A. in English from the University of Delaware and his J.D., magna cum laude, from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
