Friday, Jun 13, 2014

"Paradoxes of War," a six-week open online course, began on June 1 as part of the University's online course initiative with Coursera. The course includes lectures from Miguel Centeno's popular Princeton course, "The Western Way of War," as well as weekly interactive video office hours in which Centeno responds to issues arisiing in online discussion forums.  Writing exercises in the middle and at the end of the course offer opportunities for students from around the world to engage deeply with a broad range of primary and secondary materials, and to assess and comment one one another's work.  To enroll for free, visit https://www.coursera.org/course/warparadoxes.

Princeton alumni may enroll in a new Companion Program that offers opportunities for interactive email discussion with one another and with course preceptor Andrew Ledford.  This program also features online webinars with current and past Princetonian servicemen and women.
