Or are you reimagining a class you have taught many times? In this asynchronous Canvas course, we offer interactive opportunities, evidence-based suggestions, and reflective tools to help you align your learning and teaching as you design or redesign a syllabus. Join us with a new or existing course in mind that you hope to (re)design. Our goal is that you will leave this course with a syllabus in hand that includes: Clear and specific learning goals for your students Targeted assessments aligned with these goals that you can communicate to students Assessments integrated with course material into the arc of a semester We have specifically designed this course to help you either create a wholly new syllabus or redesign a current syllabus. To create prompts and guidance for instructors to design usable, practical materials to make your course more equitable and accessible, following the premise that small changes can create substantive impacts. This course joins other initiatives at our center, including our work re-designing equitable and inclusive teaching resources, our talks and lectures focusing on equitable teaching, and concurrent Zoom sessions to offer support and feedback as you work through this course. We hope that this Canvas course complements these other learning and course development venues to help make Princeton courses more equitable and inclusive.Sign up for the Canvas course.
