Consultations and Teaching Observations

Consultation types:

In addition to group workshops on a variety of topics, we work with individual Princeton University faculty or departments that would like to discuss and evaluate their teaching quality and improve teaching effectiveness by:

  • Designing supplemental teaching evaluations to the standard University evaluation
  • Conducting live classroom observation
  • Holding focus groups with students regarding their learning experiences

All collaborations are tailored to the needs of the individual faculty member or department. Please contact us if you would like to discuss such a teaching assessment collaboration.

Please note that faculty consultations and teaching observations are confidential and non-evaluative. We do not share information on any individual consultation with departments or administrative offices. At times, we may anonymize consultation data and report group-level data in the aggregate for the purposes of better understanding the needs of our faculty.
