Event Description
A story map is a digital expository work illustrated with multimedia elements such as maps, images, text, audio, and video. Allowing students to create professional-looking scholarly resources with easy-to-use toolstory, story maps are a popular choice for digital course assignments. This session, facilitated by Katie Bertel, Ben Johnston, and Marie Li, from the McGraw Center’s Digital Learning and Design team, will introduce participants to the two most common platforms for creating story maps, ArcGIS Online Story Maps and StoryMap.js, and provide guidance for making your story maps assignment a success.
