In 2019, the Prison Teaching Initiative became the Princeton University Class of 1994’s official 25th anniversary partner, which has led to what we hope will be a lifelong relationship! In our work together, we founded a mentorship program for justice-impacted students looking to expand their career opportunities. Pilot Year 1 occurred in 2022, and we just wrapped up the second pilot phase, with the goal of expanding opportunities far beyond the small groups we have thus far supported.
