Olivia Parker

Class of 2019

My name is Olivia Parker and I’m a sophomore(go Class of 2019!). I’m from Newark, New Jersey and I would like to major in neuroscience. On campus, you can see me performing with the William Trego singers or going to Princeton Faith and Action events. As long as I can remember, I have always loved learning. Before I came to Princeton, I had the misconception that the majority of learning came from independent work. However, once I arrived on campus, I realized that a good piece of understanding information comes from collaborating with others as well. I’m on the McGraw Student Council, because I want to help my fellow classmates on campus to also see that collaboration and independent work go hand and hand. No one has to learn alone. My goal for the council is that we will enable Princeton students to put ideas of perfection aside and fall in love with learning again.
