Julia Fitzgerald

Class of 2018

Hi! My name is Julia, and I’m a junior concentrating in Psychology and pursuing certificates in Spanish and Linguistics. I love traveling and experiencing new cultures, so I spent last fall studying abroad in Stockholm, Sweden. Since arriving on campus as a freshman, I’ve spent a lot of time exploring different study strategies and methods to navigate Princeton’s unique academic challenges. I’ve realized that there’s no one best approach, and I’ve learned that I need to adapt and adjust my strategies every semester. I’m excited to get to know you and help you find strategies that allow you to get the most out of your classes and your Princeton experience.

By the way, check out the research I’ve done on the conflicting ways that students talk about Princeton and their experiences here, and the differences in how they describe it to Princeton insiders v. outsiders: https://perspective.princeton.edu/news/best-damn-place-all-linguistic-dichotomy-princeton
